NORTH STARS RUMBLES DETROIT AND ST-PAUL!
Following the start of the NHL season, the fans of the local team, the Minneapolis North Stars, are enjoying hockey of great quality, as their favourites punched their way in for two convincing victory over Detroit Red Wings and Minnesota Wild.
The General Director, Dave McMahon, showed great appreciation of the work of his players. Criticized by many fans for the trade of Ilya Kovalchuk sooner this week, the performance of his teams, and the great plays of Andres Meszaros seems to give him reason. However, he reminded the fans to be patient with the club, as the team fills up to 5 rookies in the main alignement.

NORTH STARS TAKES THE LEAD IN WESTERN CONFERENCE
Following a tremendous season starting, our local team, the Minnesota North Stars are in a dominating position troughout the NHL. Second only to the Mighty Quebec Nordiques, the North Stars shows that good chemistry in the dressroom and young players can lead to many victory.
The fans are very optimistic, as the prediction for this years, made by General Director McMahon, are far beyond expectations. The team, which will surely remain untouched for most of the season, will only get more experience and develop itself as a unified family.
To answer the remarks of General Director Todd Rail, GD McMahon said the teams would speak on the ice tonight.

VANCOUVER GENERAL DIRECTOR THROWS INSULTS AT MINNESOTA
In a recent article of Vancouver Sun, we heard that General Director from Vancouver directly insulted our General Director, Dave McMahon, implying he wasn't gentleman at all. We directly went to mister McMahon's office for official answer which came that way...
" Some people like to yell and try to get attention outside the rink. We prefer to show results on the ice. For now, as I look to the rankings, Vancouver is far mor visible outside the game then on results. We wish them good luck"

“The Vancou-WHA? Phenomenom”By special collaborator Adam Banks - Citation :
- « quel chic type à comparer de Simoneau à Winnipeg, McMahon au Minnesota ou Jasmin à Tampa Bay! »
In those little words, as I read them this morning, I saw a great distress. The distress of a team falling down, not knowing how to react despite insulting other teams. What a pity I told to myself, our great sport, reduced to mockery by this General Director from Vancou-Wha? We, in Minnesota, aren’t fans of free insults, and we are somewhat protective of our two hockey teams and their general directors. Maybe mister Mailhot doesn’t understand what politeness and descent conduct is, but we are happy to be able to remind him today. Let’s give a look at the mighty organisation of Vancouver… and here is our little “Guide-book to winning” #1 To be a winning team in the NHL, you must score more goal then you afford to the other team.Unfortunately, Vancouver has scored 94 goals, conceding 95, no wonder why their team isn’t making the cut at this time. Although Antero Nytiimaki is a wonderful goaltender, there seems to be some difficulties in defense at Vancouver.#2 To be a winning team in the NHL, you need players that can put their contribution to the scoringUnfortunately, in Vancouver, there is only 8 players that have been able to score more than 10 points on the last 25 games. Here, in Minnesota, we have a tremendous 13 players that already passed the cap of the 10 points in 25 matchs and from those, three recruits.#3 To be a winning team in the NHL, you need not to concede many goals to the adverse teamThe Vancouver Canucks shows the third ugliest stats of the NHL for the Allowed goals, with a skyrocketing 3,80 allowed goals per game, far from the best 2,62 goals per game of Minnesota North Stars#4 To insult other teams, you need to be at least, making the cutThe Vancouver Canucks, from the height of the 9th rank in the Western Conference, aren’t in a position to throw out insults at other teams mister Mailhot, remember that. This is why, we humbly say, what’s the problem with that “Vancou-Wha?” team? Is some kind of diseases which spread only in British-Columbia or what? Anyway, we won’t hold you more dear readers, and we invite you to read about true hockey teams. Special collaboration of Adam Banks.

Four wins in a row for our stars!
As General Director McMahon said earlier this week in his press conference, it seems that the North Stars are able to stay out of all those controversy between the different team by focusing on the game and playing great hockey. Not only did Henrik Lundqvist received his 3 first victories of the year, but rookie goaltender, Brian Finley, conceded no goals on his first complete game in the league.
Everything seems to go well in the club, with an astouding defense, conceding only 3 goals in 4 games. It seems mister McMahon apparent inaction this summer was a careful development program well planned for long.
The General Director answered back to his homologue of Vancouver who stated that American team had no heart to the game by saying "We are saddened to see that Vancouver can't find a way to express it's outmust talent to speak outside of the game on the ice. We suggest mister Mailhot to draw less attention on his personnal follies and to put more efforts into the development of his hockey team. We respect the organisation of Vancouver, and hope things will improve for this club as we do for all our league neighbours and friends"

North Stars First in West!
Special collaboration by Frank Demeers…
With seven games played, the Minnesota North Stars are showing an impressive record of 6 wins and one loss. Great hockey is played here in Minneapolis and we went in the player’s room to get impressions from our players
Alex Tanguay : “Je crois qu’on joue du très bon hockey en ce moment, et je dois dire qu’avec Jarret et Maxim, on donne notre 100%. Aucun match n’est gagné d’avance, alors on s’entraîne dur »
Ales Hemsky : « I think everybody remember the humiliation of last year elimination in 4 games against Saint-Louis, and we work very hard to get our revenge this year. »
Henrik Lundqvist: “ Well, you know, the defense is doing great work, easing the task for me and Brian. We are proud to be part of such a wonderful organisation, I would have hated to be drafter by Vancouver or by Montreal, two teams I most despises.”
We also asked General Director McMahon about the upcoming opponents of our team, and here is what he had to say : “ Well, mister Demeers, we will be facing three excellent teams in the next days. Vancouver has a good formation, and it’s just a matter of time before they find the right combinations to be very deadly in the league. Quebec is showing a bit of difficulties this year, but last year they finished first, which means they have great potential. Finaly, we will be facing Winniped, a team I highly respect. Mister Simoneau is doing a wonderful work with his players, and this game will be a real test for our formation.”
